FAQ
Questions you are likely to have.
What the studio is, whether your team is ready, what the AI does and how early access works.
What is Business Innovation Studio?
Business Innovation Studio is a design thinking workspace that guides teams step by step through human-centered design, from understanding customers to testing ideas, so every decision is backed by evidence. It replaces a blank whiteboard with a guided, step-by-step path through the Double Diamond.
What is design thinking?
Design thinking (also called human-centered design) is a way of solving problems that starts with understanding the people who have them. Teams research real needs, define the right problem, generate ideas and test rough prototypes before committing to a solution.
What is the Double Diamond?
The Double Diamond is a design process with four phases: Discover, Define, Design and Deliver. The first diamond is about understanding the problem and the second about solving it; each phase opens up to explore and then narrows down to decide.
Do I need to know design thinking to use it?
No, the studio is built for first-timers as well as experts. The Draw Bridge lesson teaches the method, and every step explains what to do; help adjusts to how experienced you say you are.
How long does the Draw Bridge lesson take?
Draw Bridge takes about 60 to 90 minutes, and you can stop and come back. You can do it on your own or with a group, where a group leader shows each worked example once everyone has answered.
Can I use it on my own?
Yes, choose “Just me” when you start to get a private room that only you can open. Choose “With a group” to share one link with your team, where everyone sees what is typed.
What does the AI do?
AI features are planned as a coach that suggests and questions, not one that decides. Suggestions stay separate until a person accepts them; during early access the built-in coach drafts from your earlier steps without AI.
Will the AI make decisions for my team?
No, people make every decision. AI output is always a proposal that someone reviews before it becomes part of the project.
What happens to our project data?
Your work is saved on our servers so you and your team can come back to it. The product is in early access; organisation-grade security and governance controls, such as single sign-on, are planned for a later release.
Can I use it on my phone?
The studio is best experienced on a laptop, desktop or tablet, because the workspace has canvases, maps and side-by-side views that need room. On a phone you can still join a workshop, add ideas and follow along.
How much does it cost?
It is free during early access. Paid plans for professionals, teams and organisations are being shaped with early users; you can register interest on the pricing page.
